Pin Lay is a professional tennis stringer with over 35 years of racquet service and 20 Grand Slam appearances. A long-time member of the Yonex Official Stringing Team, he has worked at all four majors venues: Australian Open (Melbourne Park), Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open (Flushing Meadows), as well as the Olympic Games (London 2012, Rio 2016, Paris 2024) and the Asian Games (Incheon 2014, Jakarta-Palembang 2018).

His tour resume also includes the China Open (where he strung Novak Djokovic's racquet for the 2010 final), the Japan Open, the Tianjin Open, and service at the Commonwealth Games.

Pin has provided long-term racquet support for Nick Kyrgios from his AO junior debut through his 2013 Australian Open Boys' Singles title and every year since; from 2013 to 2015 he was a private stringer for Yonex players at the Australian Open, serving athletes such as Ana Ivanovic (finalist), Martina Hingis (multiple doubles titles), Angelique Kerber, Sabine Lisicki, Maria Kirilenko, Borna Coric, Juan Monaco, Bernard Tomic, Lleyton Hewitt, and Denis Shapovalov. Recognised as the only Yonex team member to serve at the Australian Open for ten consecutive years, Pin also customises racquets for juniors and professionals, advising on string selection and tension mapping, grip builds, and matching weight, balance, and swingweight for consistent, tour-level performance.
